Job Description

Role Mandate:

The Bridal Consultant is passionate about ensuring that their customers remember the experience as much as the dress they have selected and abide by a philosophy of "always appointment ready at Kleinfeld at Hudson's Bay".

Responsibilities:

•Accountable for delivering the sales targets
•Can quickly build a rapport and foundation of a trusting relationship with the bride and the guests that accompany her
•Well versed in both bridal and overall fashion trends and expert in helping clients select the perfect wedding dress and accessories
•In depth knowledge of inventory assortment to ensure that you guide the client to a selection that reflects her style, theme and budget
•Understands body types and fitting techniques

Job Requirements:

•Loves to sell – but above all, ensures the customer leaves the store happier than when they arrived
•Is knowledgeable on style, trend and appropriate accessories
•Has a warm, but always professional demeanor
•A good listener with strong communication and problem solving skills
•Patient and composed
•Able to handle fast pace and sometimes stressful situations with calm and grace
•Comfortable with working in close proximity and personal space of clients
•3 – 5 years high end retail experience is mandatory; Bridal experience is an asset
•Understanding of multi- cultural weddings an asset
•Full flexibility with schedule (including evenings and weekends)
• Able to lift 30lb gowns
