Retail Reopening

Article Date: Mon Mar 1, 2021

Active Screening
All guests of CF Masonville Place including retailers and employees will be required to answer screening questions prior to entering the premises. To support this effort, we will limit access to the centre and have staff stationed at Entrances 1, 2 and 4, safely distanced and behind a barrier, to ask screening questions in-person before permitting guests who meet the criteria for entry.

We anticipate that the new restrictions may result in additional line ups inside and outside of the property and we advise guests to prepare for their visits accordingly.

For your convenience, feel free to take the online screening in advance of your visit. Then just show our team the “you can go” page with today’s date. (Screening online does not allow you to bypass the line.)

Hours of Operation
Monday to Friday: 11am to 7pm
Saturday: 10am to 6pm
Sunday: 11am to 5pm

*Please contact individual retailers directly for their hours of operation before planning your visit.

Enhanced Safety Measures
Our customers, employees and clients are our first priority and knowing that health and safety is top of mind for everyone, we’ve enhanced safety measures. Since the beginning of the pandemic we have implemented physical distancing guidance, including traffic flow management, use of PPE and increased cleaning of high touch point surfaces. Furthermore, we strongly encourage consumers to shop individually or with members of the same household to help fight the spread of COVID-19.

The Government of Ontario has issued new guidelines for commercial businesses currently in the ‘orange’ zone. As of Monday March 1, 2021 non-essential retail businesses, including shopping centres and personal care businesses are be able to resume activities, while complying with existing restrictions on the number of customers admitted to commercial enterprises.

Select retailers will also offer curbside pickup and virtual appointment shopping. Restaurants will be able to operate indoors where physical distancing measures can be met. Capacity limits for indoor dining will be restricted to 50 people inside, with a limit of 4 people seated together at once. The food court will be open with reduced seating.
