At Cadillac Fairview (CF), we're focused on providing a safe and comfortable shopping environment and ensuring that our retailers can continue to operate during this challenging time.
As of Saturday, December 5, 2020, the City of Hamilton will limit occupancy levels for indoor spaces including shopping centres and mandate active COVID-19 screening measures for all guests entering CF Lime Ridge. Furthermore, individual retailers will be required to actively screen their own employees and visitors, and post clear capacity limits at store entrances with measures in place.
What to expect starting Saturday December 5 once restrictions are in place:
All guests of CF Lime Ridge including retailers and employees will be required to answer screening questions prior to entering the premises. To support this effort, we will limit access to the centre and have staff stationed at Entrances #1, #2, #4 and #6, safely distanced and behind a barrier, to ask screening questions in-person before permitting customers who meet the criteria for entry.
We anticipate that the new restrictions may result in additional line ups inside and outside of the property and we will advise guests to prepare their visits accordingly.
Should you require any assistance, we encourage you to call us in advance of your visit at (905) 387-4455 or text us using CF SHOP! Text at (289) 323-0723.
To support this new mandate around occupancy levels, Cadillac Fairview is working with its retail clients to ensure compliance and is encouraging consumers to shop during non-peak hours throughout the week to help spread out traffic in the centre. Extended hours at CF Lime Ridge started in November, allowing shoppers more time to shop throughout the holiday season. We will continue to have additional staff and security presence at our centres to help manage capacity requirements.
Enhanced Safety Measures
Our customers, employees and clients are our first priority and knowing that health and safety is top of mind for everyone, we’ve introduced enhanced measures. Since the beginning of the pandemic we have implemented physical distancing guidance, including traffic flow management, use of PPE and increased cleaning of high touch point surfaces, all in an effort to help fight the spread of COVID-19.
CF also launched a new shopping app called LiVE by CF that allows guests to prepare for their visit and move efficiently through the property. Using the app, guests can access property specific maps and icon-based navigation cues to help plan the most efficient shopping routes.
We will continue to pay close attention to the COVID-19 environment and adjust our practices as required.
